Hello there,
Thanks for your sharing.
Have a nice day!
I would be interested in the topic, but it is empty. You also don’t reply to messages.
carlosmeldano Hi there,
Sorry, here is his quote: I resolved the issue where the SER8 8845HS’s fan RPM did not increase despite the rise in cpu temperature while in automatic mode

support1 I know because I have also tried but that is a software in Windows only. And if it works, why don’t you just implement or fix it in BIOS, while the settings are already there, just not working?
carlosmeldano Hi there,
What about you change the auto mode in the BIOS?
support1 it doesn’t work either. I have a SER5 MAX, too, and that works fine there. I think this is a small bug in SER8 v029 BIOS. Full On Mode works (fan goes maximum), but when you set to PWM Manually or Automatic modes, it does the same. No matter what mode or values I set, it will always go with default settings. This is why I asked you to speak with the firmware guys, because they will know what I am talking about. This is easy to solve as it just seems to be a bug.
Same applies to Advanced > OEM Features Management > Usb Power Controller. No matter what I set, it will always be “All ON”. I think this is also a small bug, and these values are ignored.
This is a good PC, but these small bugs are annoying, and very easy to be solved by Beelink.

for SER8845, PWM is EC controlled and cannot be adjusted.
support6 3 days ago, you (or a colleague of yours) advised to install FanControl (comment #4), but that is a Windows application and is blocked by some antivirus software. I tried it out, it can even stop the fan from spinning, so it is just possible to implement.
There was another thread in which users are asking for this function. Why don’t you implement it in BIOS if it is a requested feature?
Dear Beelink Team,
Yesterday evening I made 2 posts in the Ser8 topic espacialy the same Problem with the fan noice.. Unfortunately, both posts are no longer visible in the forum. The 2 posts are displayed in my account, but the content is missing here too. Allow me to ask where the content of my posts has gone?

spritti my posts are always moderated, and awaiting approval, so you are more lucky than I am.
Hey what a f..un. Thx for yur reply.
spritti I think they don’t want to implement this but they also don’t want to make this visible.
Given the high price of a SER 8, I expect a little more cooperation and concrete help with this problem. Let’s wait and see how this develops.
Bey, see you
spritti me too, I am just shocked why they are not supportive at all. It is easy to do and would make a huge respect towards them.
유니주니 Hi, can you post screenshots of the “FunControl” settings?
The program works, but I can only set a constant speed. My curve does not control the fan
carlosmeldano
hello there,
we have checked with our technical personnel, you can adjust the PWM,
We hope to modify the BIOS at Beelink to control the CPU fan speed without special software like ‘fan control’ on Windows 11.

support6 I know but this function doesn’t work in BIOS. This is why we all ask you.
support6 in comment #7 I already explained.
“Full On Mode” works (fan goes maximum), but when you set to “PWM Manually” or “Automatic” modes, it does nothing. No matter what values are set, it will always go with default settings.
Same applies to menu “Advanced > OEM Features Management > Usb Power Controller”. Anything is set, will always be “All ON”.
