support1 Yes I installed the driver many times. It just says it’s ready for the hardware. You can see in the image there is Unknown usb device with bad descriptor. Look at the link I sent of the other thread, there is no solving this yet.

jacknjill101 Could you please check the details of the USB device ?what hardware ID is it ?
Please right click the unknown device to update the fingerprint driver.
On the other thread the user said it was resolved by automatically pulling latest update, but that search automatically for drivers didn’t work for me.

jacknjill101 What if you choose the whole file ETU813_3.6.2.3_Win11v24H2_WBF_WHQL rather than only x64?
I would like to thank you for your support.
After making corrections to the operation of the fans thanks to two forum users: “Seri” and “Carlosmeldano”, the computer works very quietly and so far without problems.
I tried another way to pick list of available drive and choose the .inf file. The result is no driver for device.
jacknjill101 Hi there, please go to Windows settings -> Account -> Sign-in Options -> Fingerprint recognition, remove the existing fingerprint and added it again.
support1 I’ve already reinstalled the OS like you suggested and never was able to setup a fingerprint.
Only solution to this is that you have an updated bios for the GTI14 Ultra 9 185H. I have the bios ver. T202
jacknjill101 Hi there, please press Win+R at the same time, then input: gpedit.msc, press enter. Go to Computer Configuration / Administrative Templates / Windows Components / Biometrics / Allow the use of biometrics– then choose enabled, click apply and OK.
support1 Did notfix it. I rebooted and still the same.
jacknjill101 Please check the hidden device in the device manager to see if there is the biometrics device ? If yes, please right click it to update the driver.
support1 it’s checked and no biometric device shown. If I didn’t reinstall the OS like you asked me to, it would show in hidden. Now I regret I did that. Should I just send it back?
jacknjill101 Which image did you use to reinstall , from our image or Microsoft?
support1 Microsoft

support1 I reinstalled the OS using your GTI14 image, but the fingerprint sensor is still inactive. At this point I think it’s broken. How do I go get a replacement?
jacknjill101 Hi there, please contact our support team for the replacement at support-pc@bee-link.com
On your official website there is ex docking station pro - compatible with rtx 5000 and radeon rx 9000 - is that true? I wrote a query to service@bee-link.com and you replied that you don’t know if rx 9070 is compatible. I’m confused - I bought beelink gti13 (waiting for delivery) and I want to buy ex docking station +9070 - can you confirm compatibility with your ex dock pro?
