So it appears there is not a fix for this issue. I will be requesting a return. Linux is my primary OS of choice and if there is no fix for this firmware issue then I not only wasted my time but a hell of a lot of money.
I would like a link to the Windows installation image so I can return it in it original state.
You should label your products as “DOES NOT SUPPORT LINUX” . It is bad form to sell a system (basically a Intel laptop in a box) that SHOULD support Linux out of the box but can’t. It is misleading to consumers of your product to not specifically state the necessary OS requirements.
Even the simplest of systems, Raspberry Pi for example, run Linux without any issues like this.
So very disappointed as I had high hope for this setup.
