Hi! I bought this mini PC in July 2024. I have been having this problem the past 2 months. Each time I boot up the mini PC, it does not detect the bluetooth devices (both Logitech keyboard [K780] and mouse [M590]). I had to re-start before these devices are recognised. I have re-installed Windows 11 twice (clean install) and downloaded the drivers from Logitech and AMD. None worked. I hope you can advise how this can be resolved. Thank you.

Gerry Hi there Here are the possible solutions : ① Please go to the device manager to check if there is bluetooth driver, if no, please update the driver. I’ve had the same problem, mouse not detected , now i have installed intel drivers 23.120.0.4 , at the moment it is all ok, i hope it will be ok forever :) bye

Gerry Please go to AMD website and download the auto-detect program.It will update some chipsets and video drivers automatically. It will identify and install appropriate drivers for their AMD hardware. The program works by scanning the user’s system to detect the installed AMD hardware components, such as graphics cards or processors. It then compares the detected hardware information with a database of AMD drivers and software versions.

Hi. Unfortunately, all the suggested steps above did not work for me. Any other tips that may solve the BT issue? Just a reminder, the BT doesn’t work only when I boot up my PC in the morning (new day). If I were to shut it down and boot up again after a few hours within the same day, the BT recognises my devices - no issue. But the issue resurface when I boot up the next day.

I had this problem on gaming laptops before as well, it is caused by Windows not loading all drivers that it should before bootup. The fix to this is always to: Type msconfig in windows search and open up System Configuration then navigate to boot tab and change the timeout to a higher number, which newer faster devices you will have to experiment with this to find the optimal seconds so all drivers will boot properly on bootup, used to be 40-60 seconds was best. In the same boot tab open advanced options and click on check box next to number of processors and make to select the max number as this will make sure all your cpu cores bootup on Windows startup, click okay then click apply and okay to save all the changes and restart your device when the popup pops up to activate it. Disable windows “Fast Startup” it should be in your power options settings, if it isn’t then type in windows search control panel, open it up and navigate to hardware and sound>power options and on the top left underneath control panel home click on choose what the power button does and then click on change settings that are unavailable and it will allow you to uncheck the box of fast startup, if you don’t see see fast startup in here it is usually that fast startup isnt an option on your device or it could be disabled by default or it could even be hidden, one fix I see to have it show up is open command prompt as an admin and type: powercfg /hibernate on If for whatever reason you want to disable it again, just type off instead of on at the end.

Jan Hi, is it still ok for the Bluetooth with Fast Boot disable? I’m also experiencing this intermittent Bluetooth issue, especially after waking from sleep. It’s very frustrating when using a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard — this is my only complaint about this mini PC, which I otherwise really like.

Please try disabling fastboot as well to see if it works on your machine.
Did you try the solution we provided in the above reply? You can try it to see if it works on your machine.

Sorry to hear that, i must admit that it’s not working for me. I fixed the problem by using an external BT dongle. The build in BT is disabled every few days and i’m sick of it. So i use the external BT USB Dongle.

I have the same issue with my SER8 8745HS. The behaviour is as follows:
When I plug in the power supply and boot the computer right up, everything works fine. However, if I wait a few minutes before pressing the power button, the Bluetooth device (and WiFi) is not working.
As @Jan mentioned, a USB mouse or keyboard is then required to manually disable and re-enable the WiFi/BT card in the device manager to make it work. Another alternative is to simply reboot the machine.
For now, I have the power button set up in such a way that it shuts down the computer when I press it. This way, I can at least reboot the PC without attaching a USB mouse.
A bit annoying, would really like to know why this happens…

Hi,

Firstly, thank you for the antenna kit and the heatsink thermal pads. I have installed both into the mini PC.

However, the bluetooth still isn’t working properly. It works for one day and when I reboot it the next, the bluetooth is undetectable. No bluetooth can be found on the Windows notification area also. I had to use the Windows diagnostic tool to get the bluetooth signal again. But that only lasted for that day. The bluetooth is again undetectable by Windows the next day.

This is very disappointing. I am resigned to the fact that I can only use the wifi adapter to connect to my mouse and keyboard. Forget about using the bluetooth.
