GTI14+OLD EX Docking Station Combo+5070ti?

So I have the original GTI14 (Intel Ultra 155H)+EX Docking Station Combo(2 Slot GPU bracket space only, very first version I know). And I would like to know it is able to run a 5070ti without a problem? Because I see that there is a new version of the dock with PCIe5.0 support, but I am not going to buy the same dock again just for that little upgrade when I got this not that long ago too. I have been running a RX7900GRE in it without a problem, but would like to upgrade to Nvidia and this card seems to be the good middle ground in performance and price here in my country. And if anybody already is using this combo how big of a bottleneck will there be if any?

support16 Thank you, but I don’t have the card yet, and don’t really want to buy the card until someone can say that is actually works, because you can’t really just return it here without a problem. But will definitely try it for my RX7900GRE and see if it makes a difference (but why is that not default).

i just got an ASUS PRIME RTX 5070 ti . it does not allow me to use the dock to power the GPU (PSU 600w) . RTX 5070 ti MUST HAVE AT LEAST 750w (RED LED, fans not running) . You can bypass by using a standalone 750watts PSU just to power RTX 5070ti.

I am now facing the problem of pc unable to detect or Update Drivers. Pls help if possible

It seems like its not the powersupply thats the problem, because 5070 ti only use 300-400w max. It sadly looks like the dock itself is the problem. You need the new PRO version of it for the RTX 5000 and RX 9000 card to work because those come with PCIe5.0 support only. So I’m staying with my RX7900GRE or maybe will look into RTX4000.
