This has happened several times now and I’m getting tired of it having to uninstall a bunch of Windows updates as it ruins the HDMI output colors upon the latest update. As you see in the attached photos after Windows update the colors are all off and that’s without doing anything else to settings or equipment. After I uninstall the update (shown in the photo as KB5063060), then everything goes back to normal. This update was mandatory, but the same thing has happened with the preview update that ends with KBxxxx499. In fact, the whole system got corrupt, and it wouldn’t even read my previously created backup to restore windows to original settings. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Have you tried all Windows updates with your Ryzen AI 365 or 370? it seems like incompatibility issue with this setup. All the colors are washed out and purplish and green. Image description

Hello, the video didn’t help. I found out that once I delete the update everything works, but that’s not an option since this was a mandatory security update. I also found out that if I update Windows and then I connect both display-port (through USB C next to power jack) and HDMI to the monitor and duplicate these displays then HDMI works as it should. When I disconnect the USB C video out, and only use HDMI, then colors are all incorrect again. So, I have to connect both USB C and HDMI and duplicate these on the same monitor and switching to HDMI or USB C works fine. As soon as I disconnect USB C, and switch to HDMI, then problem is back.
I’ve checked the cable and used different inputs on the monitor and as I mentioned prior to Win update all ports work as they should. I’ve even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the video drivers, but no avail. I’m not sure what’s causing this.

Thank you for your reply, I have already done both AMD tool/driver installation and reinstalled MS Windows 3 to 4 times by now and the same thing happens no matter what I do. I even installed the original AMD drivers from your site and tried updating with the latest AMD drivers using the AMD software that determines the drivers needed. Nothing seems to work and doesn’t look like a driver issue if the output from USB C port looks good, but just HDMI looks bad and only if it’s used by itself. If I hookup both USB C port and HDMI to two ports on the display and duplicate the displays and show HDMI only, everything works. As soon as I unplug the USB C output, then HDMI looks bad!

      Hi there
Do you have another HDMI cable to try ? or another power supply.

Please try some solutions here :
      1.Disable Fast Startup
In Control Panel, click the Power Options. Select the Choose what the power buttons do. Uncheck the “Turn on fast startup.”, click save changes.

2.Please uncheck the save energy in the device manager—universal serial bus controller–USB hub—properties–power management—uncheck “Allow the computer to turn off the device to save power”

I have tried another HDMI and another monitor, but same issue. I have disabled fast startup and unchecked save energy in device manager, but these have no effect.
