After I connected a second M.2 NVMe SSD (2Tb), I started having issues with its operation. While my first M.2 NVMe SSD (500GB) works perfectly, the second one stops being recognized by the system after a few minutes. The drive is new, and I even tried replacing it with another identical one, but the problem remained. I also tried swapping the slots between the two drives, but the issue still persisted. A SMART test using the manufacturer’s utility showed that the drive shuts down after some time, which likely means it stops receiving power.
What can I do to get the second SSD to work?
