Hi,

I have a Beelink EQ12 n100 and have attached a powered USB enclosure (Yottamaster USB 3.1 2 bay: https://support.yottamaster.com/shop?goods_id=97). I am running Ubuntu server 22.04.

When I attach the enclosure to any of the type A USB ports using a high speed cable (USB 3.1) I get I/O errors when accessing the disk. I have been able to transfer data at times but it will eventually disconnect part way through a transfer (rsync). When I use the type C port I am able to use the disks without issue (albeit at USB 2 speeds). When I attach the enclosure to the type A ports using a USB 2 cable I am also able to use the disk as expected.

I have attached the USB DAS to another computer and mounted, viewed and transferred files using the same cable without issue. Speeds we 200 MB/s.

I am running the BIOS version: N95V106

I have noted there are a few posts regarding similar issues. However, I could not identify any solution.

I am currently running the 6.5 Linux Kernal which was released August last year. I’m not keen on updating due to some incompatibilities with other hardware I have. Have you seen this issue before? Was updating the Kernal the solution?

jacob We have asked the relevant staff about your problem. This may be a driver problem. Would you like to find the latest driver update? We look forward to your feedback and wish you have a nice day.

I am experimenting a similar issue with a S12 N100 in Proxmox. Have anyone found a solution?
