I just purchased a new Bee-Link GTi14 Ultra PC, expecting to use it as my main computer for photo editing, working and light gaming. The specs were impressive, and research showed this setup compatible with dual-booting Windows and Linux. One of the first things I do when receiving a new computer with Windows installed is to create a set of installation media in case I need to re-install or recover Windows (Windows will ALWAYS need to be recovered/re-installed in it’s lifetime).

Opening the box, I was impressed with the hardware, and had no problems booting and initial setup of Windows - however, there was nor Windows Product Key or Activation Key provided. Even using Microsoft’s own Product Ket software (ShowKey Plus), or querying SoftwareLicensingService from the command line would give me a product key. This is required If I ever need to do a clean install, and is included with every other source of the Windows OS I have purchased, either alone, or as part of a new computer purchase.

Searching the Bee-Link forums, it seems that anyone who needs this key must beg Bee-Link Support for a copy, after first sending an image of their computer serial number to Bee-Link. WHAT??? This SHOULD be provided as a matter of course with the sale of EVERY Bee-Link computer sold. There should be no need to beg for a copy of the key under any normal circumstance.

Please explain why no Product Key is provided as a matter of course with the product you sell.

Thanks.

    Hi there,

We ask for the SN for this reason: We have several brands , one is beelink and 零刻. For the 零刻 PC, we sell barebones(No SSD or RAM preinstalled) to domestic market. So we can only tell the difference between their SN on the back of the devices. We don’t provide the keys to the barebones, that is why we ask for the SN.
