Beelink CS-George it doesn’t work either. I have a SER5 MAX, too, and that works fine there. I think this is a small bug in SER8 v029 BIOS. Full On Mode works (fan goes maximum), but when you set to PWM Manually or Automatic modes, it does the same. No matter what mode or values I set, it will always go with default settings. This is why I asked you to speak with the firmware guys, because they will know what I am talking about. This is easy to solve as it just seems to be a bug. Same applies to Advanced > OEM Features Management > Usb Power Controller. No matter what I set, it will always be “All ON”. I think this is also a small bug, and these values are ignored. This is a good PC, but these small bugs are annoying, and very easy to be solved by Beelink.

I tried it out, it can even stop the fan from spinning, so it is just possible to implement. There was another thread in which users are asking for this function. Why don’t you implement it in BIOS if it is a requested feature?

Reduce the value of SMF Start PWM or set it to 0 if you want the fan to rotate less or switch off.
The value defines the minimum PWM rate that can be set by the automatic system.
Unfortunately, this is not explained and is not communicated.

In your picture, the SMF Start PWM is at 80 (value range 0-255), so the automatic system will never regulate below PWM 80 (approx. 1300 rpm).

Serli yes you are right, I spend the past few hours to understand and find optimized values to make it even more silent, and now I understand why it makes them headache to change any parameters, because the current curve is almost perfect except that the curve is designed differently as for other computers.
