Still you are not acknowledging that an AAA game is pushing the hardware to the max and the bios is only allowing 15W of TDP in mixed usage.,
Can you please stop making excuses (i’m a hardware engineer) and please fix the bios? Is not so difficult, it’s just adjusting the values or simply allowing us to set the proper values on the bios without them being overwritten.
You need to understand that AMD’s spec is 28W in combined CPU+GPU usage, and we have proven that the actual bios is only allowing us to use 15W. Again, this is a violation of the AMD’s spec, and FALSE ADVERTISING. I don’t know how this works in china or in the US, but in Europe this a VERY SERIOUS problem. False advertising in the EU is not taking lightly by the law.
I’m sorry to say this, but you are making excuses instead of fixing your bios. If your team can’t understand the problema and don’t know how to test it please move this to a manager, because sincerely i’m very tired of explaining this over and over. I know you want to differentiate different mini pc tiers, but you can’t slow down a computer and not respect the manufacturer’s specifications.
SImply put:
AMD: You have 28W for the APU, split if as you’d like, but you can use the full 28W.
Beelink: Do you want to use the cpu? Here, 28W for you. Do you want to use also the gpu? what? 28W? NO, here you have 15W, share them. This is out of spec for this APU.
Please, it’s not a difficult problem to solve, just release an updated bios. This is a great machine, but you’re destroying its performance with a badly set up bios.,
