We have learned that you are dissatisfied that the TDP of Beelink SER5 MAX 6800 can only reach 28W. For this, we sincerely apologize. You mentioned that the CPU of this machine itself can achieve a TDP of 45W. Your professional insight has greatly impressed us. ​
When designing the SER5 MAX 6800, our R&D personnel were faced with difficult choices. To ensure that the machine can effectively dissipate heat during operation, prevent performance degradation or even hardware damage due to overheating, guarantee low noise during operation, provide you with a quiet and comfortable usage environment, and more importantly, maintain the long-term stable operation of the machine and reduce the probability of faults, after extensive testing and research, the TDP was ultimately limited to 28W. This is the result of seeking a balance among multiple factors and is also to make the product’s overall performance more in line with the actual usage needs of the majority of users. ​
At present, it is temporarily impossible to increase the TDP by changing the BIOS. Although we have released a new BIOS version, this version mainly focuses on optimizations and improvements in other aspects and does not support modifications to TDP. ​
