I tried all of the above. With different memory modules, and in two different Ser 8 mini PCs with different BIOS - everything goes wrong when using the CT32G56C46S5.M16B2 module (2025, Micron chips) - one or a pair does not matter. I think this is a hardware compatibility issue. similar behavior is also present on factory devices - exactly as I describe, you can read about it at the link [
These modules do not behave like this in other systems. Your team can check this issue themselves. Best regards

the PC does not start from the off state, does not reboot from Linux and even from installation USB drives, and you suggest updating the video card drivers :) ?

      Hi there
Will this issue happen if you use original RAMs?
could you send us pics on both sides of the new RAMs?

With original modules it works properly. Now I installed a 64Gb kit from Kingston KF556S40IBK2-64 and it works flawlessly! Sending photo of the modules with which it does not start, the modules have been tested by Memtest, Cinebenh, and other (using SER 8 and Lenovo notebook), in other systems they do not cause any problems with startup.

Tried both and one with the same effect. Since the problem with the Kingston modules has disappeared, I will hold off on updating the BIOS for now plus I have the latest version, as I wrote above.

          Thanks for your reply.

I have same issue I think - using same Micron memory (1×32GB)

I haven’t gotten it to start at all except once and since then the fan doesn’t even start.

When you say “cold” boot doesn’t work but after 2-5 times it works - is “cold” boot plugging in the power? 2-5 times of pressing the power button 10 seconds to turn off and on again?

changed to a kingston module and now it works …

Your machine’s BIOS is already up to date and does not need to be updated.

Perhaps, but your BIOS is still incompatible with Micron 32GB DRAM….

              Hello there,

Yes, perhaps there is a compatibility issue between the brand of the machine and the RAM.

If you have any questions during the use of the machine, please feel free to contact us.

              Have a nice day!

              Isn’t this something you’d want to solve…?

                Hi there
May i know if you have tried other RAM brands?

As I said, Kingston works fine. MIcron does not. Tried on two SER8s

                  Hello there,

The issue of brand compatibility is temporarily unsolvable.

We will contact the R&D personnel to conduct more tests in the future and try to minimize the compatibility issues between the machine and the RAM brand.

                  Have a nice day!
