Tried both and one with the same effect. Since the problem with the Kingston modules has disappeared, I will hold off on updating the BIOS for now plus I have the latest version, as I wrote above.

Thanks for your reply.

I have same issue I think - using same Micron memory (1×32GB)

I haven’t gotten it to start at all except once and since then the fan doesn’t even start.

When you say “cold” boot doesn’t work but after 2-5 times it works - is “cold” boot plugging in the power? 2-5 times of pressing the power button 10 seconds to turn off and on again?

changed to a kingston module and now it works …

Your machine’s BIOS is already up to date and does not need to be updated.

Perhaps, but your BIOS is still incompatible with Micron 32GB DRAM….

      Hello there,

Yes, perhaps there is a compatibility issue between the brand of the machine and the RAM.

      Isn’t this something you’d want to solve…?

        Hi there
May i know if you have tried other RAM brands?

As I said, Kingston works fine. MIcron does not. Tried on two SER8s

          Hello there,

The issue of brand compatibility is temporarily unsolvable.

We will contact the R&D personnel to conduct more tests in the future and try to minimize the compatibility issues between the machine and the RAM brand.

          Have a nice day!
