Tried both and one with the same effect. Since the problem with the Kingston modules has disappeared, I will hold off on updating the BIOS for now plus I have the latest version, as I wrote above.

Thanks for your reply.

I have same issue I think - using same Micron memory (1×32GB)
I haven’t gotten it to start at all except once and since then the fan doesn’t even start.
When you say “cold” boot doesn’t work but after 2-5 times it works - is “cold” boot plugging in the power? 2-5 times of pressing the power button 10 seconds to turn off and on again?
changed to a kingston module and now it works …

Thanks for your feedback.
Please send us a picture of SN number and BIOS version.
So we would be able to know whether it is latest BIOS and send you files accordingly.
Here`s how to check your BIOS version:https://mega.nz/#F!yuISGa4I!s1bQQajKwnsEdzjqq4nopQ
HPT-8xxx.SER8.V029.P8COM OC15.13.Link
Perhaps, but your BIOS is still incompatible with Micron 32GB DRAM….
Isn’t this something you’d want to solve…?
As I said, Kingston works fine. MIcron does not. Tried on two SER8s
