Hello. When I connect the Type-C cable monitor to a Gti14 mini computer with Thunderbolt 4, the monitor does not show the image (power is supplied to it, but no image is received). If I still connect Type-C Power to second port and I reconnect the connector usb type-c to Thunderbolt 4, then it begins to show the image. Why? If I use the same monitor with another mini pc on Chatreey T9 (Intel N100 CPU), it works with one usb type-c cable. It seems to me there is a problem with Thunderbolt 4 in this GTi14 Ultra. I updated the BIOS from T102 to T105 but it did not solve the problem!

support1 No, it doesn’t work that way either, power will be supplied to the screen, but the image signal will not go through. It only works if external power is supplied to the screen and only then connect the tunderbolt cable. Please check it out on your monitor and send me the video.

Hi there, The monitor that requires external power before connecting the Thunderbolt cable might have higher power consumption. The power delivered through the Thunderbolt 4 port on the Gti14 mini computer alone might not be sufficient to power up the monitor and transfer the video signal simultaneously. When you connect an external power source to the monitor first, it ensures that the monitor has enough power to operate properly and then the Thunderbolt cable can handle the data transfer for the image display. When I tried our TYPE C monitor, it works without extra power, it has lower power requirement and can operate within the power limits provided by the Thunderbolt 4 port without the need for an additional power source.

support1 Hello, I checked the power consumption of my monitor and one maximum is 4W, and its specifications indicate that it does not need external power. And this monitor works great with a mini PC chatreey T9 over one type-c cable. Thunderbolt should give out up to 15W of power. Write the monitor model that you tested, or better yet, make a video.

When I connect the monitor to the PC chatrey t9, both power and image are transmitted via one cable, the tester detects the Svid protocol and the image immediately appears on the monitor after pressing the power button on the PC: But when I connect the monitor to the PC Gti14 ultra, only power is transmitted through one cable, the tester does not detect the Svid protocol and there is no image on the monitor after pressing the power button on the PC. If I connect the second type-c cable to power the monitor, the PD protocol changes from 15W to 5W and there is no image. When I reconnect the cable, the image starts to show. Hi, I have this problem too on the GTi12. Im using a portable USB C monitor where its requires power and video via a single cable. On my other USB C laptop it is working fine, only the GTI12 USB C rear port is not working. This might be a driver issue which im still waiting it may be fixed one day.

We don’t have this tool.
From what I learn on the internet, this item only support power and the testing, but not support display.

Hi there,
If your type c cable is not a all-in-one cable, then it cannot support video output, maybe it can only support video output,but not power supply. So when you connect another cable to charge it, it can output the video .

I tried different cables and bought UGOURD Thunderbolt 4 Black 40G 240W 8K which has a PD chip and is defined in the E-marker cable as 0×315C vendor. But no cable displays an image.😂

I updated thunderbolt chip firmware on my GTi14 155H with T105-BIOS firmware and finally now my monitor Arzopa Z1RC works through one type-c cable!!!

i would like to know exactly how to update thunderbolt firmware, as my thunderbolt port shuts off sometimes (after restart or shutdown) and seems like not much i can do to get it running again. I’ve tried a few different usb drives and none show up in the boot menu to boot from.
I followed the tutorial on how to put the files on the usb drive and nothing is working for this port.
