Expanding on this further… I tried to do a fresh install of Windows 11 (with and without the Beelink image) after reformatting the drive, and that will boot so long as you “reboot” the machine. The first time you shut down the machine and power it back on, the same issues presents again…

Symptoms so far are…

  • System posts fine out of the box and from a fresh install of Windows 11.
  • System FAILS to post after shutting down the machine (Windows 11 -> Start -> Shutdown) when an HID device is connected.
  • System POSTS after disconnecting USB HID device (Keyboard, Mouse, or combo wireless dongle).
  • System POSTS WITH USB HID device after ALSO connecting a USB storage device (including a card reader, even without storage attached).

Tested so far…

  • Clearing CMOS.
  • BIOS update, followed by clearing CMOS.
  • Enabling Fast Boot (Note: disabling USB Fast Boot stops the machine from booting even with a USB storage device).
  • Reinstallation of Windows 11 (fresh Microsoft image).
  • Reinstallation of Windows 11 (fresh Beelink image).

As a workaround for now since I need to get this machine into service, I just have a slim USB thumb drive installed into the machine.

Please keep us posted on this, 1220p model was making sense.

khuntim Please repeatedly press delete key as soon as you turn on the PC, go to BIOS. Please send us a picture of the Main page, we will check if you need to update the BIOS.

Remove the fan, clean it and apply a very small amount of nonconducting lubricant to the shaft
      and reassemble the unit

I have not purchased it yet, if it has a problem booting I was leaning toward N150 system, only for Plex server.

What is an example of nonconducting lubricant, and do many of the PCs need this?

khuntim Ok, looking forward to your order, it is the lubricating oil on the fan, which can be used to try to solve the problem when the machine has noise.

            support13

what model N150 should I buy with least noise?

I wonder what happened with the EQi12 1220P boot issue?

khuntim Our machines are very quiet when they leave the factory. You can buy the model you want. Our machines are problem-free. If there is a problem, you can contact us and we can provide you with after-sales service.

Problem is, when this goes to email, we never find out if the boot issue was resolved. EQi12 1220p looks interesting, was there recent BIOS update that might address this?

khuntim Sorry. May I ask if there is a problem with your machine that it cannot start? Sorry for the trouble.
Don’t worry, the PC has one-year warranty. Please send us a picture of SN on the bottom of the PC and a picture of the purchase record. Here are some potential solutions: First, Please turn off the PC , unplug the power supply, and press the CMOS button (if no CMOS button, please put the pin in the CMOS pinhole and press it ) for about 10 seconds , restart the PC after ten minutes. Here is the tutorial https://mega.nz/file/XypwTISY#DVT0BsjOgiPkZ-drQaj88JH9Z7f7qpKGP2E3nMHW8ms or https://url.bee-link.cn/5FdW  If the problem persists, please try other solutions:

①Please change another HDMI cable or power supply.

②Please take out the RAM ,please clean the contacts of the RAM with a rubber. Here is the tutorial  https://url.bee-link.cn/AzzB or https://mega.nz/file/7nwDmCaL#UyzSmVkqJG8HW9dhjHhLkkzdP9gt2Br3xyCG1SCdbrA

③ Please take out one RAM and leave the other one in it to test if the RAM is defective or not. When testing, please turn on the PC, and wait about one minute, if you can go to the system, Please repeatedly press delete key as soon as your restart the PC, go to BIOS. Go to Boot option, enable fast boot, press F4 to save.

④Please check if the fan spins?

⑤Please tell us if the Keyboard light is on ?(Very important). If the keyboard light is on, it should go to the system, we need to troubleshoot HDMI or the monitor.

I do not own one, I was thinking about buying one. This does not have HDMI 2.1?

khuntim The HDMI interface of EQi12 1220p is 2.0
