SER9 MAX AMD7 255 slow Wi-Fi

Like many others, I’m having a problem with the Wi-Fi module on my Beelink SER9 MAX AMD Ryzen™ 7 H 255: it’s extremely slow, reaching speeds of only 5 Mbps 😢
It doesn’t see the 5 GHz network from the router, only 2.4 GHz.
My laptop and phone are in the same location, and they see 5 GHz and speeds of up to 150 Mbps.
I updated the drivers and removed the Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX200 160 MHz device, but that didn’t help 🙄

Could you please send us a picture of SN code at the bottom of machine ?

Here are some potential solutions:

1.Please clear the CMOS. Please turn off the PC , unplug the power supply, and put the pin in the pinhole and press it for about 10 seconds , restart the PC after ten minutes.

Make sure that the distance between the PC and the router is less than 6 meters.
Please uninstall the wifi driver and then resatart the PC to see if it works.
Please right click the windows —setting -troubleshooting —other toubleshooters— internet—run , let the PC diagnose the problem and solve it automatically.
Go to device manager , click the property of the Intel WiFi driver —advanced–choose property 802 ax, value also choose 802 ax.
Please make sure your WIFI signal is full.

7.Please right click the windows–computer management–double click Services–①Wlan auto config–start the service, ②WWAN Auto config —start the service.

8.Please go to the windows terminal (admin) > type in : sfc /scannow > then wait until finished.

Right click windows –go to settings—network & internet—-Advanced network settings–network reset–reset now
Please go to device manager, uninstall the WIFI driver, then reinstall the PC.

I completed all the points, it got a little better: I saw the 5G network, but the connection speed was no more than 5 Mbps, the 2.4G network increased the speed to 15 Mbps
But it’s still unacceptable on a 150 Mbps channel ☹

Hi,

I just received my SER9 with exactly the model today. Having the exact slow WIFI issue. I leave the SER 9 next to the router and the download speed of WIFI is under 10 Mbps while all my other devices are 300Mbps above.

I have followed all steps above, got the speed to 80Mbps now, but still way slower than it should be.

Please try opening the bottom cover to see if the Wi-Fi speed improves.

On 12/26/2005, two BIOS versions 1506 and 1507 for SER9-MAX-255 were released, what is the difference?

My version is: SER9L0101 dated 07/16/2025
Sn: B255H5JF20190

SER9MAX255 original BIOS: V035.P8C0M0C15.06/ Version V035.P8C0M0C15.07 BIOS adds WOL functionality.

Your current BIOS does not need to be updated.

Based on your serial number, your machine is a SER9pro 255, not a SER9MAX255.

The SER9PRO255 cannot update the BIOS of the SER9MAX255.

SER9L0101 is the original BIOS version and the latest version, so no BIOS update is needed.
