Hi, Im using GTI14 185H with latest BIOS 201. How do I update the “anx7406(2024-11-13)_2024-11-14_8-06-32” via usb? I have followed the instructions document but it wont boot from the USB to update?

You should simply enter the BIOS using the DEL key when booting and in the BOOT section select simply Launch EFI Shell and then enter the command:
    FS0:
where FS0 - your usb flash drive

      vitasonline

Took me a while to figure it out, it was the last EFI selection as you said. Anyways I have updated and finally! my USB C portable monitor now works with a single cable!!! so happy!

I followed the instructions for “anx7406(2024-11-13)_2024-11-14_8-06-32.zip” but it does not load anything it keeps bouncing back to choose boot drive screen. How do I get this to work? In the future all of these update should be available to be completed inside windows instead of bios screen. Most users would not be capable of completing the instructions.

lud14 Did you put all the files into the root directory of the USB flash drive ?
Could you please send us a picture to show the files on your USB drive ?

lud14 Hello! Watch my video, I show you how to flash it

support1 I had to turn off secure boot then it worked.

lud14 Yes, if the secure boot is enabled, the BIOS flashing cannot be conducted.

                lud14 Hi there,

The Secure boot is disabled by default.
When flashing the the BIOS, if any errors, please send us the pictures, we wil know what happened.

my secure boot is off my usb is loaded just like the the pic “lud14” posted, I’ve tried what I could understand in the video with fs3 and ls and all I keep getting is “is not recognized as an internal or external command…”

                  dahjah Hi there
Did you type colon after fs3?

                    No, I’ll try that today

                    support1
That “fs3:” seems to have worked so far. The thunderbolt port opened up and all connected is working again.
                    Thanks!

Well al worked great yesterday, I shutdown a few times restarted a few times throughout the day just making sure all was well, and it was until this morning. This morning the thunderbolt port isn’t working again after shutting down over night.

dahjah Hi there, Please turn off the PC , unplug the power supply and other USB devices, then put the pin in the CMOS pinhole and press it for about 10 seconds , restart the PC after ten minutes.
